August 29th is the nine-year-anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, and so our readings this Wednesday are on the subject of storms and that still small voice guiding us through the apparent turbulence of weather, grief, and anger, and of current political, religious, and racial strife.

Nathan has been providing violin accompaniment for us this summer, and tonight is his last Wednesday night before he returns to college.  You’ll have to visit us in person If you want to experience singing hymns to his violin music!
