Here’s a Bible Tip:  Are you familiar with the many online Bible translations and paraphrases that are available from such websites as Bible Gateway, Bible Hub, Online Parallel Bible, and so on?  For example, John 10:34-36 is a confusing passage to me since it has Jesus’ dialog about calling people “gods,” so here are five different versions from Bible Gateway:

The term “Pentecost” comes from the Greek for “fifty,”  and it was originally celebrated by the Hebrews as a harvest festival 50 days after Passover. The Pentecost has also come to signify the birth of the Christian church.  I was curious whether there was any connection between the dates of Pentecost and the dates of our Annual Meeting as both events occur around the same time on our human calendars. According to the Mary Baker Eddy Library, Mrs. Eddy “did not give any reasons, that we can find in our archives, for choosing these dates.”
