We are continuing with our summer travels through the Glossary of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and today we are setting sail on the third river of the Middle East, the river Hiddekel, otherwise known as the Tigris River which flows from southeastern Turkey through Iraq. The spiritual meaning of Hiddekel is defined as “Divine Science understood and acknowledged” (SH 588). Along with the readings, I have a link to a Sentinel article about “Man” from Daniel’s vision and some historical Bible notes.
